Police arrest man for animal abuse – Uniradio News

Cd. Obregon.- A man was arrested by elements of the municipal police, to be denounced for alleged animal abuse.

Light Esther Salazar Leon, president of the Association for the protection of Animals, mentioned that the subject was seen by neighbors by cutting off the tails of the puppies that had a bitch that doesn’t give him food and kept exposed to the inclemency of the weather.

«Every time that the dog had pups, cut the tail, I had it in a cardboard box exposed to the heat and the rains, and not fed them.

Fortunately there are people in animal rights reporting this kind of abuse for us to act accordingly,» he said.

The man was arrested 36 hours after his release, he was warned that to commit again, animal abuse would be presented to other instances.

On the other hand, said that they are requesting a meeting with the Secretary of Public Security, Antonio Gutierrez Lugo, to try to streamline the complaints and listening elements of the police.
