A man who beat and burned a dog in the colonia Gustavo Diaz Ordaz was arrested by elements of the Directorate of Citizen Security and Road of Ecatepec for his probable responsibility in animal abuse.
Arturo Rye Cano, owner of the corporation, reported that the uniformed officers of the quadrant 46 received a call from the Command Centre in which they stated that a man with aggressive attitude mistreated an animal.
Officers guarded the can and arrested the likely responsible, identified as Jose Luis “N”, 42-year-old, who was transferred to the Public Ministry of the Justice Center of St. Augustine to determine their legal status.
According to the commissioner of Ecatepec, the dog had the skin of the muzzle and part of the face with burn, so that was channeled to the Center of Attention Canine of the town located in the colonia Adolfo Ruiz Cortines to provide healthcare and medical attention.
Promote adoption of animals. The municipality of Ecatepec, along with civil associations protective of animals, gave up for adoption more than 70 dogs and cats to make sure they receive the care and attention necessary, to prevent the purchase-sale illegal pets and avoid the proliferation of animals in the street. Ecatepec is one of the 28 municipalities that signed the convention on Animal Welfare.
