Dogs Saint Bernard in Bariloche and animal abuse – Journal Black River

The 10 of January I was on vacation in Bariloche and I went to the Civic Center. I contemplated the view of the lake Nahuel Huapi in a beautiful sunny day, when my tranquility was interrupted by the cry, “picture!, it photo!”. I see two people of the male sex who next to their dogs Saint Bernard offered the service of the photo typical tourists. Gave instructions to the dogs such as “sit down!”, “¡disparate!”. One of the animals barked nervous and was tied with a leash very short of his neck to the leg of a park bench located there. At the other end another dog, which was right next to a person who took the pictures and had his genitals out and hurt, a key signal of a pathology or stress.

Both the canes did not have a container that will provide them with food and water, especially taking into account the strong sun and their fur. These people ignored my claim.

I think this falls under animal abuse, which is punishable and is invisibilizado by the municipal authorities, prosecutor’s office, league for the protection of animals. So I would ask them to please provide the measures that they deem match for that not to continue trading this way with such beautiful and noble dogs, because under the figure of “work” are not laws that are acting for their protection and that may not be job worthy.
