Tehuacan, Pue.- The president of the association for the protection of animals, “TAC: A Protection to the Environment BC”, Benito Flores Pelayo, pointed out that monitor that does not have animal abuse during the operation the Municipality of Ajalpan will be against dogs in that municipality.

He recalled that the commissioner of Health of that district, Hipolito Coyotl Cross, reported that starting this Wednesday, February 15, will pick up stray animals, which represent a health problem for the population.

In that sense, Flowers Pelayo said the association, which is spearheading understand the problem of health that represents dogs in the street, although he explained that the solution to most humanitarian is the sterilization in place of his sacrifice.

It also said that after the capture of the dogs, the city Council is required to keep them under a roof, with food and water for 5 days, and if at that time are not claimed by any person, will have to be euthanized by lethal injection, according to the new Official Mexican Standard.

Finally, the president of TAC reiterated that the dogs are protected by the Law of Animal Protection for the State of Puebla approved in 2010.
