This Friday, for reasons still unknown, an inhabitant of Cambridgeshire, England, found a thousand chicks abandoned in a field.
The birds had only a day old, so that societies of animals came to his aid immediately.
Despite the fact that most of the chicks did not seem to suffer, according to witnesses, some were dead and others in a state of delicate health.
In the wake of this case the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Uk (RSPCA, for its acronym in English) is conducting an investigation to find those responsible after the abandonment of the chicks.
In this regard, Justin Stubbs, inspector of the RSPCA, stated that “it was an ocean of yellow. And the noise was incredible.”
For the moment it is assumed that the animals come from a commercial producer near to the field and that could have been abandoned by a third party.
