They say that dogs are man’s best friend. True to its commitment to the protection of animals and pets, Tito’s Handmade Vodka celebrates the second edition of the Tito’s SunnySide Brunch & Picnic, a fundraising activity to benefit the Humane Society of Puerto Rico (formerly spca).
This activity will take place on Sunday, may 7, from 10:30am at the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico, and will feature the culinary creations of renowned chef argentine based in Puerto Rico, Martín Louzao, owner of the restaurants Nonna, Touro, Panka and Farm. I could not miss the good music, which will be in charge of Jorge Bebo Rivera, Lizbeth Roman, Bronson and DJ Davey.
Pets will have access to the garden of the Museum of Art, Santurce, which will have a space solely designated for the enjoyment of all.
“With the Tito’s SunnySide Brunch & Picnic bring to Puerto Rico the legacy of the relationship between the brand and the pets. Our founder, Tito Beveridge, it is a real ‘dog lover’ and one of the main values of the brand is the protection of the animals, in recognition of the joy that the puppies and kittens we provide. The goal is to raise funds to support the work of the Humane Society of Puerto Rico, which both do for the animals in our Island,” said Álvaro Rodríguez Suárez, brand manager of V. Suárez & Co.
For its part, Maritza Rodriguez, executive director of the Humane Society of Puerto Rico, expressed himself extremely grateful for the initiative of Tito»s Handmade Vodka. “The commitment that the brand has with this cause is undeniable, and for us it is an honor to be able to count on the support of companies and leading brands, such as Tito’s. These partnerships with responsible corporate citizens are instrumental to the continuity of the services that we provide in the Island,” he said.
A brunch like no other. The Tito’s SunnySide Brunch & Picnic offers three sessions of brunch in the garden area and the restaurant of the Museum of Art of Puerto Rico in Santurce. The first session is from 10:30am to 1:00pm and the menu is a sampling of two courses of the restaurant Nonna Rustic Cooking, with a donation of $30.00 per person. The second session is from 12:00md 5:00pm, with “picnic box” of the restaurant, Farm and combo of the restaurant Panka (both by donation of $20.00); and the last batch is from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, with a menu of Touro Bar Cover (donation $35.00). The entrance to the garden of the museum is completely free for people who wish to attend to listen to the music, and enjoy the variety of drinks made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka this day.
