The European University has released the award-winning projects in the ninth edition of the Young Social entrepreneur Awards (JES). Among these stand out a programme of company for people of the third age, a platform of employment for the young or have a solution for the management and funding of animal protectors.
In total, has been awarded to the drivers of ten social projects or environmental concerns that seeking social transformation and the protection of the environment. On this occasion, the elect have been Miwuki, Tyre Barrier, Meet Your Talent, Art, Palliative, why I take these pills?, Adopt A Grandparent, auTICmo, Bridge for Billions, Pegasus and Sport Radio sen Idade.
According to Europa Press, these proposals have been developed by young people under the age of 30 years old from Barcelona, Ciudad Real, Asturias, La Coruña, Madrid, Murcia and Valencia , and belong to sectors such as health, motor, sport, or technology, among others.
Through this program, the European University has as objective to give visibility to the projects of young people, as well as a high-level training to continue to develop initiatives of social impact that generate a profit in their communities.
In addition, in this edition, the program JES held the Week of Social Entrepreneurship, from 2 to 9 October. During the same will take place the ceremony of delivery of awards, in an event in which we will make public the Special Mention of the Jury.
According to the university, will also address the role of young people and the businesses in the face of social challenges. The event will count with the presence of Francis Pole, federal secretary for entrepreneurship, science and innovation of the PSOE. In addition, will also participate in 20 young people from 17 countries that have been highlighted by their and social projects that have been awarded by the program Laureate Global Fellows.
