I’ve known Pat Pickar for almost 20 years. I have seen Pickar in many different roles—a father, K-9 trainer, coach, business owner and friend. As president of the United State Police Canine Association, overseeing four states and Manitoba, Canada, Pickar was open to new ideas advancing our organization. No doubt, Pickar will do this for the sheriff’s office. Electing Pickar for sheriff will bring new perspectives, fresh ideas and a renewed energy, which has been overlooked by the current status-quo.
