Two dogs of breed Dogo that were in captivity, and without power were recovered yesterday by the police reginense in the framework of a search warrant in compliance with the animal protection law.
The situation in which they were animals was detected by members of the Protective Association of this city, who filed a complaint through the which authorized the search and recovery of the animals.
In the procedure intervened personnel of the police Station, Fifth and the Brigade of Dogs, which conducted the boarding of animals and their transfer for evaluation by a professional, after which they were to be sheltered in the Protective Association.
Members of the Association for the protection of Animals (Apan), detected the presence of the doges, in a backyard of a home located on calle Juan Bautista Alberdi at 691, bound apparently with wire and in very bad conditions of food and hygiene.
For this reason, filed a criminal complaint against the owner of the animals, for an alleged violation of the law 14.346 which provides for sanctions for those who do not keep the animals in optimal conditions.
The raid was authorized by the magistrate Court Criminal N° 20 of Villa Regina, and was performed on Friday morning with the recovery of the two animals.
