The sector is declared in the position to train those who return to Mexico from united States
MEXICO CITY (04/APR/2017).- The Mexican Association of Private Security Companies (AMESP) declared himself ready to train and give jobs to mexicans returning from the united States, said the president of the agency, Roberto Rivera.
He said that these actions form part of the agreement recently signed by the general coordinator of Security Groupings United by a Mexico Stable (ASSUMED), Mario Espinosa Boulogne, and the secretary of the Interior, Miguel Angel Osorio Chong.
He explained that, in accordance with this agreement, the 22 organizations that make up the ASSUMES will be available to up to 50 thousand places of the guards inside the walls, transfer of values, canine security, electronic security, protection officers, airport security, among others.
Rivera indicated that the AMESP is the largest of the member associations undertake, and participate in national and international companies and largest representative of the private security industry operating in the national territory.
All of them have more than 500 thousand employees. In 2016, the growth of this industry was 17% on average, which was resulted by the increasing of common crime, but mainly by the sustained growth in the economic activity of the mexican industry.
The executive clarified that for access to a place within the enterprises affiliated to the AMESP is necessary to be properly trained and have the essential requirements, with the purpose to avoid the improvisation and the emergence of companies of private security irregular, which generates disrepute to the sector.
Reported that the AMESP participates in the Committee of Management by Competence of Private Security, which is endorsed by the Secretariat of Public Education, through the National Council of Normalization and Certification of Labor Competencies (Conocer).
