TIJUANA, B. C.- Give details of the third edition of the event “Low Grooming 2017” to be held from 28 to 30 April in the facilities of the Baja California Center in Rosarito.
The advisor of Tourism of the Nature of the SECTURE, Monica Vejar Crown, reported that by means of the said program has sought to add to organisers of events that promote the tourism segment of pets, due to the important niche of market that exists in California, the united States and represents nearly nine million families in search of facilities and recreational spaces to conduct visits and tours with domestic animals.
He explained that the SECTURE has been given the task of encouraging the establishments that make up the pedestrian tourist to offer services related to the sector and receive the pets in a friendly manner, as a result, close to 200 businesses have joined the programme so that the visitor can perform any activity offered in the company of their dogs.
“Based on earlier experiences it is expected an influx estimated 500 thousand participants, as this year we opted for carry out the event open to the general public, to prioritize that to achieve a greater reach in the community for the benefit of the pets,” said Vejar Crown.
For his part, the president of the Mexican Association of Stylists Canine Professionals, Joaquin Flores-Stack, indicated that the event “Low Grooming 2017” will be held by the Union of Clubs Canine Tijuana with the objective of professionals in the sector, suppliers and pet owners are provided with a space for the exchange of current practices in the care of domestic animals, training, nutrition, and social responsibility, in addition to issues such as the adoption of dogs in the street.
He explained that the main attraction of the event will be the competition of styling canine with four categories, for which in addition to the participation of several stylists of the Mexican Republic, will be counted with judges and exhibitors of the united States, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Costa Rica, Colombia, Brazil, Russia and Mexico, due to the international reach that the festival has achieved.
Flowers Stack mentioned that there will also be a display of canes, seminars and talks for a better pet ownership, as well as a career in allusion to the Day of the Child, in which the little ones can perform a journey of 4.5 kilometers, accompanied with your dog, whether walking, jogging or running.
He added that the race will be held around the facilities of the Baja California Center on Sunday, April 30, for which the interested must register from 9:00 hours by making a donation in kind that will be delivered to the Center anti-rabies Beaches of Rosarito, so much so that this activity will begin at 10:00 hours.
