The State Unity of Civil Protection (UEPC) trains two dogs, Flower and Thor, that will make up a team of people search, using the I smell of blood and adrenaline.
This was announced by Carlos Mexico Gamero Ortiz, director of the UEPC, who mentioned that dogs are trained by a coach of wide international recognition.
The training of the canine breed Belgian Shepherd Mallinois is in the process, but were already employed in a first search.
“The intention is to coordinate this team of sniffer dogs with the work that can be done with the support of the drones”, said the interviewee.
The dogs were donated to Civil Protection for citizens interested in contributing to the cause that made this corporation.
